Scheduling & Service
Do I need to be home for the service?
For most exterior cleaning services you do not need to be home. We will need access to an outdoor water spigot and clear access to the areas being cleaned. For interior painting or any work inside the home, someone will need to be present. We'll confirm the specifics when we schedule your job.
How long does a typical job take?
It depends on the service and the size of the property. A standard driveway or pool cage wash typically takes 1–3 hours. Whole-home exterior cleaning usually runs 2–5 hours depending on size. Roof cleaning is generally a half-day job. Painting projects are scoped individually — we'll give you a realistic timeline when we estimate.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It varies by season. During busy periods — particularly fall and winter when snowbirds return — we book out further. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to secure your preferred date. We'll always give you an honest read on availability when you call.
What if it rains on the day of my service?
Light rain typically doesn't affect pressure washing — the work gets done regardless. For painting, we need dry conditions and will reschedule if the weather isn't right. We'll communicate proactively if weather is going to change your schedule.
Do you work on weekends?
Our standard hours are Monday through Friday. Saturday appointments are available on a limited basis. Call us to discuss your scheduling needs.
Pricing & Estimates
How do I get an estimate?
Call us at (239) 566-2608 or submit a request through our contact form. We'll respond the same day. For most jobs we can provide a solid estimate over the phone or by reviewing your property address. Some larger jobs may require a site visit.
What factors affect the price?
For cleaning services, the main factors are square footage, accessibility, the extent of buildup, and the number of surfaces being cleaned. For painting, it's surface area, the number of coats required, prep work needed, and paint selection. We price every job individually — we don't use one-size-fits-all rates.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We give you a straight price before the job starts. If something changes scope while we're on site — which occasionally happens — we communicate before we proceed, not after.
Do you offer discounts for HOA or community-wide service?
Yes. For community-wide programs covering multiple units or buildings, we work with property managers and HOA boards to structure pricing that reflects the scale of the work. Contact us to discuss your community's needs.
The Work Itself
Will pressure washing damage my plants or landscaping?
We take landscaping protection seriously on every job. We pre-wet plants and garden beds before we start, work carefully around irrigation systems and plantings, and rinse off any overspray when we're done. Damage to landscaping from our work is extremely rare.
What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing for my roof?
Both are pressure washing — they just use different pressure levels and methods. Traditional pressure washing uses high-pressure water. Soft washing uses lower pressure combined with cleaning solutions. We've cleaned roofs both ways for years with good results. Starting August 2026 we're offering soft washing and biocide application as additional options for roof cleaning. We're happy to talk through which approach makes sense for your roof.
What products do you use?
We use professional-grade cleaning solutions appropriate to each surface and job type. All products are selected for effectiveness and safety. We're happy to discuss specifics when you call — particularly if you have concerns about landscaping, pets, or surface types.
How long will my roof stay clean after a cleaning?
In Southwest Florida's climate, algae and mold regrowth is inevitable. How quickly it returns depends on the roof type, tree coverage, and proximity to water. Most homeowners in this area clean their roofs every 1–3 years. Biocide application can extend the time between cleanings.
Do you offer a warranty on painting?
We stand by the quality of our work on every painting job we complete. If something isn't right, we make it right. We'll discuss the specifics of what we stand behind when we scope your project.
Credentials & Coverage
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Blastmasters holds license LCC20243019 and carries full liability insurance on every job. Worth knowing: Florida law no longer requires a contractor license for most exterior cleaning work — pressure washing was removed from the list of required licenses in 2023. We maintain ours because we work on buildings above three stories where it's still required, and because we believe our customers are better protected when we do. You're covered.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Naples, Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, and Marco Island. We cover every part of each city — no neighborhood is outside our service area. Not sure if you're covered? Call us and we'll tell you straight.
Do you serve HOA communities and property managers?
Yes — HOA communities and commercial properties make up a significant part of our work. We have experience working with property managers, HOA boards, and community associations across SW Florida. See our HOA services page for more detail.
How long have you been in business?
Blastmasters has been operating in Southwest Florida since 1998 — over 27 years of continuous operation in this market.
